SDK Generation Feature Of The AWS API Gateway

In this article, we will discuss the SDK generation feature of the AWS API Gateway.

Purpose

The purpose of the SDK generation is to generate a set of libraries and components so that your API can be integrated with different programming languages.

Creation Of An AWS API Gateway

First, create an AWS API gateway. Once the API gateway is created, deploy the API.

SDK Generation Tab

Once the API is deployed, you can click on the SDK Generation tab.

The Platform dropdown contains the different platforms.

Once the platform is selected, click on the Generate SDK button. The files are downloaded in the compressed form (.zip).

SDK Files

When the zip files are extracted, the folder contains multiple script files and the readme file. The file contains the information on how to call the API.
