Introduction To Amazon API Gateway

In this article, we will introduce the Amazon API gateway.

Purpose

Amazon API Gateway allows you to build, deploy and manage API.

To create your first API, search the API Gateway service in the search box.

A screen will appear to select the type of API. For this article, we will click on the Build button of the REST API.

A screen will appear to create API. Select the option Example API.

Scroll to the bottom and click on the Import button.

The resources screen will appear.

Select the GET option.

Click on the TEST button. A screen will appear to enter the {petid}.

Scroll to the bottom and click on the Test button.
