Log A Web App In The Log Analytics Workspace In Azure

In this article, we will log a web app in the log analytics workspace in Azure.

Web App

Enable Log Analytics In Web App

For enabling the log analytics, go to the details screen. Click on the "Diagnostics settings" submenu.

Click on the "+ Add diagnostics setting" link (see the image above). In the "Diagnostic setting" screen, select the checkbox "Send to Log Analytics workspace".

Select the "Log Analytics workspace" dropdown (see the figure above). Select the "Logs" and "Metrics" checkboxes and click on the "Save" button.

Output

In the log analytics workspace, write the following query.

AppServiceHTTPLogs

You will get the following output.
