Invalidation In The AWS Amazon Cloudfront

In this article, we will discuss the invalidation in the AWS Amazon CloudFront.

Purpose

Invalidation in the Amazon CloudFront is a process of removing or invalidating cached copies of objects from the CloudFront edge location before they naturally expire.

How To Create An Invalidation?

First, create a CloudFront distribution. Select the distribution and go to the Invalidation tab.

Click on the Create invalidation button. The following screen will appear.

In this screen, you can specify the objects path. Once the path is entered, click on the Create invalidation button.

The CloudFront invalidation is created.
