Docker Push Command

In this article, we will discuss the docker push command.

Purpose

The docker push command pushes the image from the local machine to the docker hub.

Before you start reading this article, make sure that Docker is installed on your machine.

Tagging means maintaining the build version of an image to push an image to the docker hub.

To tag, the image, use the following command: -

In the above command: -

To log in to the DockerHub, write the following command: -

docker login

Enter the username and password to log in.

Write the following command to push your image to the DockerHub repository.

The image is uploaded on DockerHub.
