XAMP Installation






System Requirements In Installing XAMP


  1. Minimum 256 MB of RAM
  2. Minimum 80 MB of hard drive

How To Download XAMP




  1. Open this website in the browser
  2. Click on the link XAMPP as shown in the figure below

  3. A page appears to select the setup based on the operating system. On this page click on the link "XAMPP for Windows" as shown in the figure below

  4. A new page appears. From the section "XAMPP for Windows 1.8.1, 30.9.2012" 1. you can download set up in any of the formats. See the screenshot below

How To Install XAMP




  1. Right-click on the installer file and click "Run as administrator". See the screenshot below

  2. A popup message appears to confirm – "Do you want to allow the program to make changes in your computer". Click Yes
  3. A popup message appears as shown below

  4. A screen appears as shown in the figure below

  6. A window appears as shown in the figure below. Select the path of installation and click on Next

  7. A window appears as shown in figure below. Click Next

  8. A window appears as shown in the figure below. Click Next button

  9. A window appears as shown in the figure below. Here XAMP’s installation starts. Once the installation completes, the Next button becomes enabled. Then click on the Next button

  10. A window appears as shown in the figure below. Click on the Finish button to complete the installation

  11. Once you finish the installation Control Panel opens as shown in the figure below. Click on the Start button for Apache and MySQL
