Windows Authentication Option Is Not Visible In IIS In Windows 10 Operating System

In this article, we will install the windows authentication option in IIS in windows 10 operating system.

Steps

In the path "c:\windows\servicing\Packages", we have a file "Microsoft-Windows-IIS-WebServer-AddOn-2-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.19041.546.mum".

The above file may vary from machine to machine.

Open command prompt in admin mode and write the following command.

dism /online /norestart /add-package:%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-IIS-WebServer-AddOn-2-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.19041.546.mum

Once the command is executed successfully, you can see the windows authentication machine in IIS.
