VPC Flow Logs In AWS

This article describes the VPC flow logs in AWS.

Purpose

VPC logs allow you to capture detailed information about inbound and outbound IP traffic within the VPC.

To enable VPC flow logs, we will work on the following steps: -

Let us start.

To begin with, create a s3 bucket.

To create a VPC log, go to the Your VPCs screen. Select the VPC and click the Create flow log button in the Flow logs tab.

A screen will appear to create the VPC flow.

In the above image, we store the VPC flow logs in the S3 bucket. Enter the information and click the Create flow log button. The flow log is created.

Once the IP traffic flows to and from the VPC, the logs are stored in the S3 bucket.
