Use Template Explorer To Get The Script Templates In SQL Server

In this article, we will discuss how to use template explorer to get the script templates in SQL server.

Software Requirement

Before you start reading this tutorial, you should make sure that SQL server 2005 (or above) is installed on your machine.

Before you go ahead, it is required that you should know basics about SQL server.

Template explorer contains the list of script templates for different database objects like tables, stored procedure etc.

To open ‘Template Explorer’, click on "View" → "Template Explorer".

A window opens up on the right-hand side.

To get the script template, expand any folder and click to open the script file (see the figure below).
