Tags In Microsoft Azure

In this article, we will discuss tags in Microsoft Azure.

Purpose

Tags are used to logically categorize the resources. Every tag is a name-value pair.

For this example, we will update the existing resource group with tags. For doing that: -

In the Tags section, enter the Name and the Value textbox. Click on the Save button

Use the following command to get the list of tags.

get-aztag

For this article, we have created 2 storage accounts with tags.

Now, go to the search box and search for the word tags.

A page will appear with the list of tags.

You can click on any of the tags, you can see the resources within that tag.
