String Operation Command In Automation Anywhere 10.5

In this article, we will discuss string operation command in automation anywhere.

Purpose

Purpose of string operation command is to perform string operations. There are different string operations we can perform under this command. Please see the screen shot below.

For this article, let us work on ‘Compare’.

Example

For this example, we will perform these activities

Create 2 variables to compare
Create an output variable to store results.
Use message box command to display result.

First thing first, let us create 2 variables ‘var1’ and ‘var2’

Now let us create an output variable

After the variable declaration, let us drag and drop ‘Compare’ and you will get following window

In the above window, you have selected ‘var1’ and ‘var2’ and assigning the output in ‘output’ variable.

Last thing you can do is to display the ‘output’ in a message box.

Now run the task and you will get the following output.
