Purpose

The storage class is the categorization of S3 buckets based on the purpose of using them. The below picture displays the different categories of S3 buckets.

How To Change The Storage Class Of The Object In S3 Bucket?

Let us assume that we have stored an image file inside the S3 bucket. Click on the image file and go to the Properties link of the image.

Scroll down to the Storage class section of the page and click on the Edit button.

Select the storage class and click on the Save Changes button.
