Steps To Delete The Recovery Services Vault In Azure

- The first step is to disable soft delete. For that, go to the "Properties" and then click on the "Update" link of the "Security Settings"

- A screen will appear to disable the soft delete. Select the disable and click on the "Save" button

- Next step is to delete the backup items. For that, click on "Backup Items". A list of items will appear on the right-hand side. In this example, we will click on the "Azure Virtual Machine" as this is the only item, we have in the recovery services vault

- A list of backup items will appear. Click on the ellipsis and select the "Stop backup" option

- A window will appear where you can stop the backup process and delete the existing backup. Enter all the details and click on the "Stop backup" button

- Once the backup is deleted, click on the "Overview" tab of the selected Recovery Services Vault and click on the "Delete" button

- Once you click the "Delete" button, a confirmation screen will appear. Click on the "Yes" button to start the deletion process
