‘SOAP Web Service’ Command In Automation Anywhere 10.5

In this article, we will pass parameters in a web service and get the response using ‘SOAP Web Service’ command.

You can search any free web service from the internet. For this article, I am using ‘http://www.dneonline.com/calculator.asmx’ service.

We will use ‘Add’ method for this article.

Example

Drag and drop ‘SOAP Web Service’ command and you will get this window

Here I am passing the WSDL of the service and click on ‘Build URI’ button. Another window will appear (as shown in screen shot below)

After entering the URL, click on ‘Connect’ and all the service and operations details will be populated.

Assign the value to the parameters and click on ‘Save’. On click of ‘Save’, current window will close. In the previous window, you can assign the response to a variable (‘Clipboard’ in this case)

Last step is to display the value of ‘Clipboard’ to a messagebox

Save and run the task. You will get following output.
