Size Assertion In Jmeter

In this article, we will discuss "Size Assertion" in jmeter.

Purpose

"Size Assertion" validates the "Size in Bytes" with the size of the response. If the size is more (if type of comparison is "less than"), then "Size Assertion" will return false else true.

Add Size Assertion

To add "Size Assertion"

Click to Enlarge

Right-click on the "Thread Group".
Go to "Add" → "Assertions" → "Size Assertion".

Specifying The Size

In "Size Assertion", you can specify the "Size in bytes".

Output

Start the execution and observe the size of the response.
