Set Up The Budget Alert In AWS

In this article, we will set up the budget alert in AWS.

Create An Alert

To set up the budget, click on the profile on the top right side of the screen. A dropdown will appear.

Click on the Billing Dashboard link. The billing dashboard will appear. From the left-hand side menu, click on Budgets.

In the budgets screen, click on the Create a budget button.

The budget setup screen will appear. On the screen, select the option Use the template (simplified) and in the Templates - new section, select Monthly cost budget.

Scroll down to enter the Budget name, budgeted amount, and email address.

Scroll down to the bottom and click on the Create budget button to create the budget alert.
