Secret Manager In AWS

In this article, we will discuss the secret manager in AWS.

Purpose

The AWS secret manager stores password and API keys.

First, search the word secrets in the search box. Click on the Secrets Manager service in the search result.

The AWS Secrets Manager screen will appear. Click on the Store a new secret button.

Select the Secret type and the Key/value pairs.

Click on the Next button to continue. In the next screen, enter the Secret name and description and click on the Next button.

In the next screen, without changing anything click on the Next button.

In the review screen, you can see the details you have filled in the previous screen.

If you scroll down, you can see the sample code of different programming languages to access the secret manager.

Click on the Store button to create the secret store.
