This article explains the risk register in software project management.

What Is The Risk Register?

The risk register is a tool to identify the potential internal or external risks and perform the mitigation and contingency plan.

Fields In The Risk Register

Different projects use different templates for the risk register. However, I will create a risk register with some of the fields that are must-haves in the risk register.

Here is the list of fields: -
