Request A Certificate Using The AWS Certificate Manager

In this article, we will discuss how to request a certificate using the AWS certificate manager.

What Is The Certificate Manager?

The certificate manager allows you to provision, manage or deploy public or private SSL/TLS certificates.

First, search Certificate Manager in the AWS console. Click on the Certificate Manager service in the search result.

In the AWS Certificate Manager screen, click on the Request a certificate button.

On the first screen, select Certificate type.

In the next screen, enter the Fully qualified domain name.

Scroll down to select the Validation method and Key algorithm.

Scroll down to the bottom and click on the Request button.

The certificate is created in the Pending validation state.
