Quick Access Toolbar In Powerpoint

In this article, we will discuss about quick access toolbar in PowerPoint.

Purpose

Quick access tool bar is placed about the main menu ribbon.

Quick access toolbar is useful when you put frequently used feature of PowerPoint in the toolbar for quick access. You can compare quick access toolbar with the favorite feature in any web browser.

How To Add/Remove Features In Quick Access Toolbar?

There is a small drop-down arrow on the right hand of the quick access toolbar. You can use it to add/remove features as shown in figure below.

If any feature is checked then it will be displayed in quick access toolbar or vice versa.

More Commands

There is an option ‘More Commands…’ to add commands in quick access toolbar. Once you will click on it, you will get following window

Here you can add a feature by clicking on ‘Add<<’. Similarly, you can remove any feature using ‘>>Remove’ button.

To add a feature

Select the feature from the left hand side list box (Font Color in the above image).
Click on ‘Add<<’.
Click on ‘Ok’.
A feature is added in quick access toolbar as shown in figure below.

Similarly, you can remove any feature from quick access toolbar.

Change The Position Of Quick Access Toolbar

When the quick access toolbar is above the ribbon, an option will be displayed to position it below the ribbon.

If the quick access toolbar is below the ribbon, an option will be displayed to position it above the ribbon.
