Policy In The AWS Console

In this article, we will discuss policy in the AWS console.

Types Of Policies

There are 2 types of policies: -

To create a policy, click on the Policies link in the IAM module.

On the Policies window, click on the Create Policy button.

A screen appears where you can select the service on which you want to apply to the policy. For this example, I am selecting the S3 service.

Below the service, you can specify the Actions.

Click on the Next button.

In the next screen, you can specify the tag. Click on the Next: Review button.

In the review screen, enter the Name and click on the Create policy button. A policy gets created.
