Loops In Automation Anywhere 10.5

In this article, we will discuss loops in automation anywhere.

Purpose

Loop is used to perform iterations.

In this article, we will work on 2 examples

In this example, we will drag and drop ‘Times’ in ‘Loop’ command.

Once you drag and drop ‘Times’, following window will appear.

Here I have specified ‘3’ as number of iterations. Once you click on ‘Save’, following code will get added.

Now add a message box inside the loop and code will be.

Here ‘$Counter$’ is the current value of iteration. Once you run the above task, you will get following output.

In this example, we will use the list (‘my-list-variable’) defined in ‘Variable Manager’ section.

If you edit this variable, you could see 5 values

To loop through the collection, you can use ‘List’

Once you drop the ‘List’, you will get a window to select the variable.

Click on ‘Save’ and following code will be added.
