Loop Through All The Rows In Excel In Automation Anywhere 10.5

In this article, we will loop through all the rows in excel. In the example, we will perform these actions

Open excel
Get data from all cells.
Loop through excel dataset
Close excel

For this article, we will use this excel file

Add Commands

Next step is to add commands. First, add ‘Open Spreadsheet’ option in ‘Excel’ command. Following window will come

In the above screen shot, I have checked the option ‘Contains Header’ which tells the task that first row is the header.

Second step is to drop ‘Get Cells’ option.

In the above window, I have selected ‘Get All Cells’.

Next step is to add ‘Each row in excel dataset’ from ‘Loop’ command as shown in screen shot below

Last step is to add message box inside the loop. Inside the message box, I have concatenated the value of column 1 and column 2.

Finally we will use ‘Close Spreadsheet’. So, the code would be.

Now run the task and you will get following output
