Log To File Command In Automation Anywhere 10.5

In this article, we will discuss ‘Log to File’ command in automation anywhere

Purpose

Log to file command is used to create a log file and add/append text in it.

Here is the log to file command that you can drag and drop

Once you drag and drop following window will appear

Log File – The complete path of the log file.
Text – The text you want to enter in the log file.
Add Timestamp – This option when checked will add a timestamp before every text.
Append to Log file – When checked appends the text in the log file and when unchecked overrides the text in log file.

Once you run the task, log file gets created with following text
