In this article, we will discuss the log analytics workspace in Azure.

Purpose

The log analytics workspace is a repository to store logs of the Azure resources.

How To Create A Log Analytics Workspace?

To create the log analytics workspace, search the "Log Analytics Workspace" service in the search box.

In the log analytics workspace screen, click on the "+ Create" button.

A screen will appear to enter the details.

Click on the "Review + Create" button for data validation. Finally, click on the "Create" button to complete the creation of the log analytics workspace.

Demo Environment

Microsoft Azure provides the demo environment for the log analytics workspace. This environment contains the sample data where the query can be executed for practice purposes.
