Launch An EC2 Instance In AWS

In this article, we will launch an EC2 instance in AWS.

Purpose

The EC2 instance creates a virtual machine.

First, search the word ec2 in the search box. Click on the EC2 in the search result.

In the EC2 screen, click on Launch instance.

A screen will appear with the default options selected. You can change the options on the left-hand side screen.

Click on the Launch instance button to launch the instance. Once the instance is ready, the Launch state of EC2 would be Running.

You can specify the key pair on the left-hand side screen.

To login the instance, click on the instance id. In the RDP client tab, click on the Get password button.

Another screen appears. Click on the Browse button and select the Key pair downloaded earlier.

The RSA private key appears in the textbox. Click on the Decrypt Password button.

Your password will display on screen.

To login, click on the Download remote desktop file button. The RDP file gets downloaded.

Click on the file and enter the password to login.
