Kubeadm Join Command In Kubernetes

In this article, we will discuss the kubeadm join command in Kubernetes.

Purpose

The kubeadm join command is used to add the Kubernetes node to the network.

Installation

The first step is to install Docker and Kuberadm.

Kubeadm Init Command

Execute the kubeadm init command. Once the command is executed, you will get the kubeadm join command.

[ERROR CRI]: Container Runtime Is Not Running

If you get the following error on the execution of the kubeadm join command, then execute the following commands before: -

rm /etc/containerd/config.toml
systemctl restart containerd

Kubectl Get No

This command retrieves the list of all the nodes in the Kubernetes cluster. If you log in as a root user, execute this command: -

export KUBECONFIG=/etc/kubernetes/admin.conf

In the above code, /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf is the path of the Kubernetes config file. You will get this information when you execute the kubeadm init command.

Then execute the following command: -

kubectl get no
