Kill The Process Using Automation Anywhere 10.5

In this article, we will see how to kill the process using automation anywhere.

Taskkill Command

Taskkill command is the windows command (found on C:\Windows\System32 path) by which you can kill any windows process. Here is the syntax of taskkill command

TaskKill /IM ProcessName

In the above syntax, IM means you will specify the process name.

Example

For this example, we will close ‘Notepad.exe’. To do that, let us drag and drop ‘Open Program/File’ command and you will get following window

In the above image, we have specified the taskkill command, path and parameters. Click on ‘Save’ to close the window.

Output

Once you run the application, notepad instance got closed.
