Java Was Started But Returned Exit Code = 13

When you start working with eclipse, there is a possibility that you have got this error – ‘Java was started but returned exit code = 13’.

Reason

The reason for this error is that the JDK path you define in your environment variables is different from the eclipse.ini.

Resolution

To resolve this issue

Open eclipse.ini
Add –vm and in the next line add JDK path. See the sample below
