Introduction To Uipath

In this article, we will discuss about UiPath.

What Is Uipath?

UiPath is a RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tool used to automate business processes that are rule based and time consuming.

Different Components Of Uipath

There are three different components of UiPath: -

UiPath studio – This is the designer tool used to create diagrams of business process
UiPath robot – This is the used to run the processes designed in UiPath studio
UiPath orchestrator – This is the web application used to deploy, monitor and schedule the robots

Uipath Studio

Once you open the studio, you will get the following screen.

You can select any of the above options. For this article, we will click on "Process" button. Once you click on it, following window will appear.

Here you can select the process name, location and description. Once you have entered all the required information, you can click on the ‘Create’ button.

As you can see in the figure above, left-hand side is the activity window. Right-hand side is the designer window.

You can drag and drop activity from activity window to designer window.
