Integrate Whitesource Bolt In Azure Devops

In this article, we will integrate whitesource Bolt in Azure DevOps.

Steps

For integrating the whitesource Bolt, we will work on the following steps

Add whitesource bolt from visual studio marketplace.
Connect to Azure directory from organization settings.
Create a new pipeline.
Trigger the build.

Add Whitesource Bolt From Visual Studio Marketplace

For adding the whitesource bolt, go to the visual studio marketplace. In the "Azure DevOps" tab, search for the "WhiteSource Bolt".

Click on the "WhiteSource Bolt" card.

In the details screen, click on the "Get it free" button. Another window appears for selecting the organization.

Click on the "Install" button to add Whitesource bolt in Azure DevOps.

Connect To Azure Directory From Organization Settings

To connect, go to the "Organization settings". In the "Azure Active Directory" screen, click on the "Connect directory" button.

On click of the button, a window appears to select the directory. Click on the "Connect" button.

In the "Organization settings", go to the "WhiteSource" page.

A screen appears to create an account.

Once all the information is filled, click on the "Create Account" button. Following screen appears which confirms that account is created.

Create A New Pipeline

Next step is to create a pipeline. While creating the pipeline, select the classic editor.

In the next screen, click on the "Continue" button without changing anything.

In the next screen, click on the "Empty Job"

The task screen appears. Add the "WhiteSource Bolt" task by clicking on the "Add" button.

The task is added in the pipeline.

Click on the "Save" to save the pipeline.

Trigger The Build

Now, trigger the build and you will get the following output

You can see the report in the "WhiteSource Bolt" tab.
