Install Kind Tool In Docker

In this article, we will install the Kind tool in Docker.

Purpose

kind stands for Kubernetes in Docker and it is an open-source project that provides a way to run local Kubernetes clusters using Docker containers as nodes.

How To Install Kind?

The first step is to install Docker. Once the Docker is installed, write the following commands to install Kind.

curl -Lo ./kind https://kind.sigs.k8s.io/dl/v0.12.0/kind-linux-amd64
chmod +x ./kind
sudo mv ./kind /usr/local/bin/

How To Check If The Kind Is Installed?

Use the following command to check if the Kind tool is installed: -

kind version
