Install Automation Anywhere A2019 Version

Steps

1. Go to the URL - https://www.automationanywhere.com/products/enterprise/community-edition
2. In the page, enter the credentials and click on the "Get Free Community Edition" button.

3. Once you fill the form, you will receive an email from automation anywhere with the following credentials
   1. Control Room URL.
   2. Email id
   3. Password.
4. Once you click on the control room URL, you can enter the username and the password.

5. Once you logged-in, you have to connect to your local device. For that, click on the local device icon on the top-right hand side of the screen.

6. Click on the "Connect device…" button.
7. Following screen will appear. There is a button "Connect to my computer". Click on this button.

8. A screen will appear to install "bot agent".

9. Once installed, click on the "Next" button.
10. In the next screen, you can enable the browser extension. Click on the "I Enabled it" button.

11. In the next screen, you have an option to download the chrome extension or skip this step.

12. Finally, your system is connected.
13. In the final step, you can provide additional information or click on done to complete the process.

Once you complete all the process, your device is connected

Difference Between Automation Anywhere A2019 And 2011

1. There is no concept of metabot in the automation anywhere.
2. AA 11 is on premises where you have to download the automation anywhere client. In A2019, everything was done on a web portal deployed on cloud.
3. There is an option of search command in A2019.
4. Object cloning command was replaced with the capture command in A2019.
5. More variable types are added in A2019.
