Install And Configure Android Studio
Download Android Studio
- Visit to the URL - https://developer.android.com/studio
- Click on ‘Download Android Studio’ to download the set up.

Install Android Studio
- Once the setup is downloaded, click on exe to install.
- First window contains welcome message. Click on ‘Next’ button.

- Next window allows you to choose components. Select the components and click on ‘Next’.

- In the next window, select the installation location and click on ‘Next’.

- Next window asks for the start menu folder. Click on ‘Install’ to complete the installation.

Configure Android Studio
- Open the android studio.
- First window will come with the welcome message. Click on ‘Next’.

- Next window asks for the installation type, click on ‘Custom’ and click ‘Next’.

- Next step allow you to select the UI theme. Select your theme and click on ‘Next’.

- Next step allows you to select SDK components. Make sure you select the ‘Android Virtual Device’ and click on ‘Next’.

- Next screen is about emulator settings. Here there is no action from your side. Simply click on ‘Next’.

- Final screen would be to verify all the settings we have done. If you are fine with all the settings, click on ‘Finish’.

- Open android studio.
- Click on Configure → AVD Manager

- In the AVD manager window, click on ‘Install HAXM’

- An emulator settings screen will appear, click on ‘Next’.
