Input Dialog Activity In Uipath

In this article, we will discuss input dialog activity in UiPath.

Purpose

Input dialog box is a prompt box that allows the user to enter some information.

Example

In this example, bot will prompt an input box to allow user to enter the age. Once the user will enter the age, it will be displayed in the message box.

Here are the steps we follow for this example: -

Drag and drop "input dialog" activity
Set the title and label of the dialog box
Declare a string type variable
Assign the value of input dialog to the variable
Display the variable in a message box

First, drag and drop ‘input dialog’ activity from the activity panel.

Enter the title and label for the "input dialog" box

Declare the variable of type string.

Assign the value of input dialog to the variable

Display the variable in a message box
