How To Register Block In Blockchain

This article describes how to add a block in blockchain.

Miners validate the transaction and register blocks in the blockchain.

How Miners Register A Block In The Blockchain?

In the first step, data in the blocks are encrypted (called hashing) by adding a random string of numbers called nonce. The output of hashing will be the fixed length output whatever be the length of input.

Miners will then compare the output hash (fixed length output) with the network hash (called Target Hash). If the hash matches, then a block is added to the blockchain.

If the hash does not match, miners will again repeat the following steps

Calculate the nonce using complex mathematical calculations.
Hash the block data and nonce again.
Compare the output hash with target hash.

This process is called proof of work.
