Host The Static Website On AWS S3 Bucket

In this article, we will host a static website on AWS S3 bucket.

Steps Of Hosting The Static Website

For hosting the static website on the S3 bucket, we will work on the following steps: -

Read this article for enabling public access while creating the bucket.

You can either copy files individually or use CLI. Here are the files after being copied.

To make all the objects as public, you can refer to this link.

To enable the static website hosting, go to the Properties link of the bucket.

Scroll down to the section Static website hosting.

Click on the Edit button. A screen appears to enable the static website hosting. Select the Enable radio button.

Once you select the Enable option, a section appears to enter the startup page.

Click on the Save Changes.

You can see the URL of the static website in the Static website hosting section.

Copy the URL and paste it on the address bar of the browser. You can see your static website.
