Function App In Microsoft Azure

In this article, we will discuss the function app in Microsoft Azure.

Purpose

The Function app in Microsoft Azure is a serverless solution that allows you to run your code without managing the server.

Create A Function App

To create the function app, search for Function App in the search box and click on the Function App service in the search result.

A screen will appear that displays the list of the function app. Click on the + Create button.

The Create Function App screen will appear.

Enter the details and click on the Review + Create button for data validation. Once the data validation is done, click on the Create button to create the function app.

Create A Function

Once the function app is created, go to the details, and click on the Functions menu. A screen will appear on the right side.

Click on the + Create button. A docked window will appear.

Select the environment and template. Click on the Create button.

The function is created.

Test/Run The Function

To test/run the function, click on the Test/Run button. The following window will appear.

Click on the Run button. The function will be executed.
