In this article, we will discuss entities in LUIS.

What Are Entities?

Entities are the important words in the utterances. For example, the utterance "Order 5 Pizza" has 2 entities i.e. "2" and "Pizza".

How To Specify Entities In Utterances?

Once you enter an utterance, an entity is automatically specified by underlining the word. See the image below.
