Enable SSL On IIS

In this article, we will enable SSL on IIS. We will work on the following steps

Create Server Certificates

In IIS, select the server name and click on the "Server Certificates"

In the server certificate, click on the "Create Self-Signed Certificate…" link.

A popup window appears to enter the certificate name. Click on the "Ok" button.

The certificate is added in IIS.

For adding the binding, select the "Default Web Site" and click on the "Bindings…" link

A popup window appears. Click on the "Add" button.

Another popup window appears. Click on the "Select.." button to select the certificate.

A window appears to select the certificate.

Once the certificate is selected, click on the "Ok" button.

The site binding is added.

Once the binding is added, you can access the website using the https protocol.
