Element Exists Activity In Uipath

In this article, we will discuss "Element Exists" activity in UiPath.

Purpose

The "Element Exists" activity checks if the UIelement exists or not. If the UIelement exists then the activity returns true or false.

Example

In this example, we will check if the notepad exists using the "Element Exists" activity.

First, drag and drop the "Element Exists" activity and select the UIelement using the "Indicate on screen" link.

Second step is to declare a boolean variable.

Third step is to output the value of "Element Exists" activity to the "IsElementExists" variable.

Finally, display the value of "IsElementExists" variable in the message box.
