Elastic Network Interface In AWS

In this article, we will discuss Elastic Network Interface in AWS.

Purpose

The Elastic Network Interface adds one more private address to an EC2 instance.

First, search the word network interfaces in the search box. Click on the Network Interfaces service in the search result.

The Network Interface screen will appear. Click on the Create network interface button.

A screen will appear to create a network interface. Enter the details and click on the Create network interface button.

The network interface is created.

Select the network interface and click on Actions → Attach.

A popup window appears to select the instance.

Click on the Attach button. Now, go to the instance detail and you can see 2 private IP addresses attached to the EC2 instance.
