Purpose

Global tables replicate your DynamoDB tables across multiple regions of your choice.

For creating the global table, we will work on the following steps: -

Let us get started.

First, create a DynamoDB table. You can follow this link to create a DynamoDB table.

For creating the replica, click on the table to go to the details screen.

In the details screen, click on the Global tables tab. Click on the Create replica button.

In the Create replica screen, select the Available replication regions, and click the Create replica button.

Your replica is created.
