The developer pulls the code from the server, performs the changes and then pushes the code to the server.

What Is The Distributed Source Control System?

In the distributed source control system, there is a client machine, local repository and the remote repository.

In this type of repository, the client machine pulls the code from the server, performs the changes, commits the code on the local repository and then pushes the code on the remote repository.

In this type of repository, the developer works in the disconnected mode.
