Deploy Your Streamlit Chatbot On Hugging Face Space

This article explains how to deploy your Streamlit chatbot on hugging face space.

Creating A Space In Hugging Face

To begin with, create a space in hugging face portal. Go to the following URL.

https://huggingface.co/

Click the Spaces menu on the top.

On the next screen, click the + New Space button.

In the create new space screen, enter the Space name.

Scroll down to select the SDK.

Scroll down to select the Space hardware and accessibility.

Scroll to the bottom and click the Create Space button. Once the space is created click the Enable Dev Mode menu.

The next step is to create a secret key. This key will be an open AI key. Click on the Settings link on the top right-hand side of the screen.

Scroll down to the Variables and secret section.

Click the New secret button. A pop-up window appears.

Enter the Name and Value (Private fields. Click the Save button to save the secret key.

On the top right-side there is an option Files.

In the requirements.txt, copy the following list of libraries.

Check the Docker file to see the entry-point where we can paste our code.

The entry point is streamlit_app.py inside the src folder.

Finally, paste the code inside the file.

Go to the App (besides Files) and see the following output.
