Delete A Repository In Github






Steps




  1. Navigate to URL - github.com
  2. Enter your credentials and login.
  3. Click on ‘Your repositories’.

  5. List of your repositories will appear
  6. Click on the repository name

  8. In the detail screen, click on ‘Settings’ button.

  10. In the settings screen, scroll at the bottom of screen and click on ‘delete this repository’ in ‘Danger Zone’ section.

  12. Click the button "Delete this repository". Once you click the button, the following popup appears.

  14. Click the "I want to delete this repository" button. The following popup will appear

  15. A popup will appear where you have to enter the repository name again.
  16. Enter the repository name and click on ‘I understand the consequences, delete this repository’ button.

  18. Once you click on the button, it will ask for the password.

  20. Enter your password and click on ‘Confirm password’ button.
