Delete A Repository In Github
Steps
- Navigate to URL - github.com
- Enter your credentials and login.
- Click on ‘Your repositories’.
- List of your repositories will appear
- Click on the repository name
- In the detail screen, click on ‘Settings’ button.
- In the settings screen, scroll at the bottom of screen and click on ‘delete this repository’ in ‘Danger Zone’ section.
- Click the button "Delete this repository". Once you click the button, the following popup appears.
- Click the "I want to delete this repository" button. The following popup will appear
- Click the "I have read and understand these effects" button.
- A popup will appear where you have to enter the repository name again.
- Enter the repository name and click on ‘Delete this repository’ button.
- Once you click on the button, it will ask for the password.
- Enter your password and click on ‘Confirm’ button.
