Purpose

1. In 2D space, the line separates the points.
2. In 3D space, the plane separates the points.
3. In n-dimensional space, the hyperplane separates the points.

Decision Boundary Types

1. Linear Decision Boundaries – The decision boundary is represented by a line (in 2D space), a plane (in 3D space), and a hyperplane in higher dimensions.
2. Non-linear Decision Boundaries – The decision boundary is represented by a curve, bend, or surface.
