Create A Pie Chart In Excel

In this article, we will see how to create a pie chart in excel.

Sample Excel File

For this article, we will be using following excel table.

Here, we have a list of class and their respective number of students.

Create A Pie Chart

To create a pie chart

Select the table you want to convert to pie chart.

Go to ‘Insert’ ribbon and click on pie chart

For this article, let us click on ‘3-D Pie’.

A pie chart gets created (with the legends).

To display count as well, you can click on the plus (+) sign on the top right-hand side of the chart and click on ‘Data Labels’.

Numbers will also start appearing on the chart.
