Create Our First Project Inside An Organization In Azure Devops






Steps




  1. Click on the organization where you want to create the project.
  2. Click on the "+ New Project" button.

  4. A screen will come to add the project name.
  5. Enter the project name and the project visibility. If the project is marked as public then everyone can see that on the internet.

  7. Scroll below and click on the "Advanced" accordion. In the "Advanced" section, you have 2 fields i.e. "Version control" and "Work item process’.
  8. First, select the "Version control" field. Here, we have 2 options i.e. git and Team Foundation Version Control. You can select either of them based on your project requirement.

  10. In the "Work item process", you can select the type of project. Either your project could be predictive or agile.

  12. Click on the "+Create project" button to create the project. A project is created inside the organization.
