Steps Of Creating A User

To create a user: -

db.createUser({user:<username>, pwd:<password>, roles:[<roles>]})

To create the user, we will use the following commands: -

use admin
db.createUser({user:"gyan", pwd:"gyan", roles:["userAdminAnyDatabase"]})

To authenticate the credentials, use the following code: -

db.auth([user_name], [password])
